Search engines are computer programs; their software (also called bots) gathers the information on the web & keep the web pages on their indexes.
When someone enters the phrase, words in search engines, its algorithm scans the millions of web pages from its index.
And in which web pages, their algorithm found the relevant information or content regarding the user queries those web pages returned by the search engines as a result of search engine results pages.

As you create your new website for your business or any purpose, what would you want from your website now?
Don’t you want to list your website on Search Engine?

Once your website is index by the search engine after that, it’s easy for your customers or audiences to find your website through search engines.
Nowadays, everyone needs any information they head over to a search engine to find the information, but why, because search engines have a vast database of information where anyone can find any information effortlessly.
And nowadays, Google is a giant database of websites and information related to your queries.

How to Submit Your Website to Search Engines?
In the very first step, check if the search engine indexes your website or not.
Head over to google, enter your website domain name & hit enter.
If a search engine would index your website, it shows all the web pages in SERP if not the search results will return the results as you see in the image-
So if the search engine returns the same results for your website simply, it means the search engine does not index your website.
Thus at first, lets set up a search console for your website.
Why do you need to set up a search console?
1) To check the index status of the website
2) To Check the Internal or technical errors of the website
3) To check the Usability issues
4) To check the queries which driving traffic to your website
And much more.
First head over to this URL – https://www.google.com/webmasters/
Click on sign in
Enter your email logins
Now click on Add a Property
Enter your Domain Name & Click on Add.
Now a window will appear where it will show the various method to verify your website ownership.
The first one recommended method is
In this method, you need to download the HTML verification file & upload it to the server.
Once you did now, click on verify in search console & done.
The second method is an Alternate method to verify the ownership.
You can use any one method to verify your site ownership, but one of the easy techniques that I would recommend is HTML Tag.
HTML Tag –
It’s too simple to copy the code as you see in the image & paste it on the header.php file.
If you are using WordPress, you can quickly put this code with the help of plugins.
Most of the SEO plugins provide you with the options to quickly add the search console code to your website.
Just hover over to plugins section in the WordPress in the search box enter Yoast & hit enter.
Click on install & activate it.
Once plugin installed, on the right sidebar, select SEO click search console.
Enter the code generated from search console & save!
Meanwhile, for faster indexing of the website, you can Use Fetch Options.
Under the Crawl Tab, Click on Fetch as Google.
You can manually fetch all the URLs one by one & soon, Google will start indexing your website & all the pages.

Now your website has been indexed by google.
You can check in google by entering this site command site:digitalpankaj.me
If it shows all the web pages in the search results, it means Google started indexing your website.
If the search results returned no results, then make sure to check your robots.txt file.

Because most of the peoples are not aware of that, you can be personalized your search results in Google with the help of the search operators.
